All Long Life Near Infrared Saunas are hand made and built to order. Unlike any other infrared sauna company, our wood is 100% local to us and ecologically harvested right here in Vermont from The A. Johnson Company And Tom Lathrop's amazing Exclusively Vermont Wood Products. It is all kiln dried to 6% moisture to create dimensional stability. We also make our own heaters from only UL listed components and we can easily guarantee that all of our products are top quality, untreated real wood.
When searching for your infrared sauna, don't be afraid to ask the company where their saunas are made. You will find that 99% of infrared saunas are made abroad where there is cheap labor and cheap material costs. However, there is nothing Eco friendly about shipping Canadian lumber to China, and then shipping the saunas back to America. In addition, unless the sauna company is there, in the shop every day, it is extremely difficult to truly guarantee quality and non-toxic components.
