We have a new and exciting sauna to offer. The Eco Sauna BRIGHT! is our standard Eco Sauna equipped with additional full spectrum incandescent lighting for enhanced health benefits. Mostly known for addressing seasonal affective disorder, full spectrum lighting has a welcome overall health benefit for everyone. When used in the morning, it helps us normalize out circadian rhythms and sleep cycle. We also believe that very bright full spectrum light has a natural healing effect on the body because we absolutely thrive on light. We will continue to see in the next decades, the profound healing and structuring effects of light.
The Eco Sauna is the perfect vehicle for bright light therapy because of its reflective walls. The lamps, mounted above the near infrared heater, are angled into the reflective side walls allowing the light to diffuse throughout the sauna and reach your entire body. This avoids the "in your face" feeling of other bright light therapies. In any other sauna, a large portion of the light would be absorbed by the wood walls. It's a fabulous compliment to saunas therapeutic value.
We have also chosen to use full spectrum incandescents instead of fluorescents because of EMF concerns.
